Foxy Laser Policies & FAQs

CONSULTATIONS: Our consultations cost $50. We will apply that $50 to your laser or skincare treatment for as long as up to 6 months. After 6 months, that $50 does not apply. Consultations are REQUIRED FIRST FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS. If you are a NEW CLIENT and you do not book a consultation first, the appointment you booked will automatically be changed to a consultation.

Our consultations are thorough and we make sure to inform you of all post-care instructions. We include a handout for you to take home. If you come in for your appointment unprepared (makeup on the face, products on the skin to be treated, unshaved, having used exfoliating products too close to your appointment) and we have to reschedule, there will be a $50 charge.

CREDIT CARDS ON FILE: We require a working credit card on file for all clients. If there isn’t an active card on file with us we will reach out to you and ask for one. We now have a system where we can send a secure link via text and email for you to input a card. If there is not a working card on file at least 2 weeks before your appointment, the appointment will be canceled and not rescheduled until an active card is on file.

PACKAGES: If you purchase a laser or skincare package with us, it has to be completed within the specified timeframe. If it’s not completed within that specified timeframe, the remaining sessions are unable to be used. Everyone signs our package agreement form upon purchase.

DEPOSITS & REFUNDS: A $25 non-refundable deposit is taken for consultations upon booking. We collect another $25 at your consultation. That $50 total will go towards your laser or skincare treatment for as long as up to 6 months. No refunds.

LATE ARRIVALS: If arriving late is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. If that is the case, the full amount of your service will still be charged. If we have to reschedule your appointment due to arriving late, a $50 fee will be charged. If you are more than 10 minutes late without sending us a written notice, we will consider that a No-Show. Please send us a text if you’re going to be late so we can plan accordingly.

To notify us if you’re going to be late to your appointment or need to cancel late, we require the notice to be in writing via either TEXT or EMAIL!

LATE CANCELLATIONS: Everyone’s time is valuable, including ours! We hold your appointment time just for you! To avoid a $50 cancellation fee, we require written notice at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, if you’re unable to make it. This ensures that we have the chance to fill your spot, as we have limited availability.

NO-SHOWS: No-Show appointments are those for which we do not receive any notice at all that you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment. No-Show fees will be charged as follows:

-All appointments where the cost has yet to be determined will be charged a $50 fee. All appointments where the cost has been determined and is less than $100, will also be charged a $50 fee.
-All appointments in which the cost has been determined and costs $100 or more, you will be charged a $100 fee.
-This policy applies to packages as well. For example: if you purchased a $500 package and are a No-Show, a $100 fee will be collected.

LATE CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS FOR CONSULTATIONS: Please let us know if you cannot make it to your consultation at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If the appointment is canceled inside the 24-hour window, a $50 fee will be collected. That $50 fee is separate from the $50 consultation fee.

SPECIALS: Sometimes we offer monthly specials. If we do, it will be posted on our social media pages (Instagram and Facebook). We also send out emails about our specials. The monthly specials apply ONLY for the month we are posting it for. Example: A February Special can only be used in the month of February. Please do not come in and expect to get a February discount for the month of March. 

Laser Treatment FAQs

What areas can be treated?

The most common areas for laser hair removal treatment are the face, underarms, bikini area, legs, and back. I will laser anywhere you have unwanted hair.

How does laser hair removal work?

Should I shave before treatment?

Yes, I cannot perform the service unless you are clean shaven. Shave the night before or morning of treatment depending on how quickly your hair grows. Wait 24 hours after treatment to shave.

Will my hair ever grow back?

Actively growing hairs that are treated should not grow back. Once a hair follicle is damaged it cannot grow hair. However, hair follicles that were not in the active growth phase will need to be treated. It’s also not unusual for clients to have a touch-up after initial treatment due to hormonal changes.

What should I expect after treatment?

Most often, by the time a client walks out of the office no one can even tell you’ve had a treatment. Sometimes, you may have some redness on the skin, which generally fades within a few hours. You may see other minor skin irritation or inflammation, which typically dissipates within 4-24 hours (this is called PFE, or perifollicular edema, and is a result of the skin around the darkest hair follicles absorbing some of the light/heat, resulting in the redness/irritation).

It is best to avoid lotions, ointments, and other topical products during this time. You can resume shaving or clipping hair 24 hours after your laser session, or once any irritation has gone away.
